"Great hotel to stay in Georgetown! First the staff was amazing, always ready to help, gave us several tips, marked the must see places on a map and how to get there, they were all great! The hotel is well located with main attractions walking distance: hotel is really well kept. Restaurant is really good and the service was really good. Rooms were clean and the daily treats were really good. Overall I would go back, no hesitation"

"Check in was simple, accomodating and hospitable. The place was elegant and very nicely decorated, clearly well-thought out. It had a lot of history. The room was smaller than I expected. The bed and bedding was comfortable and clean. The crew were very helpful and quick. Two small notes, room cleaning was a bit late (I arrived from hospital around 1pm and my room was not cleaned yet) and I hoped they improved the breakfast food. By the way, you had tons of choices for food and drinks right...

"Rooms are beautifully and interestingly decorated and furnished, I think in the style of a well heeled Chinese family of a bygone era. Both rooms 8 and 9 are huge, especially 9. We were quickly offered a change to room 9 because the air conditioning unit in room 8 needed attention. Breakfast was à la carte, well cooked and sufficient."

"It's an old house that has been turned into quaint boutique hotel. Very strategic location. Don't choose the room facing the street, though, it can get very noisy at night with speeding cars (despite the small lane) and fireworks (we cane during Hari Raya holiday)."
