We arrived by Uber. The property has a no Uber policy. We were dropped at the gate. The gate agent seemed flustered and didn't offer us a solution to being dropped at the bottom of a hill in 90 degree temps with luggage. We requested a ride. He had to call twice before a ride arrived. Took maybe 20-30 minutes. Once inside we registered and were immediately solicited for a timeshare presentation, which we declined. We arrived in our room. Very musty smell. I noticed black mold on the ceiling of the shower - the likely cause of the smell. The bell hop noticed we had some food, but no fridge in our room. He called the front desk for a mini-fridge. It was not delivered, and at the end of the day we threw out our perishable foods. One of the pools had green algae growing on the underside of the rim, and all pools just generally need maintenance. Breakfast was complimentary, and was good. Views were amazing, and one day we lazed in the pool and watched whales for at least an hour. Pool bars were not staffed when we swam - maybe the wrong time? Bed was comfortable. We could hear our neighbors through the door, so thin walls. Hotel is 18 miles from downtown Los Cabos San Lucas, and Uber was about $30 each time we came and went, with fast pickups. Stay was okay. For the distance to town to the inconvenience of not letting Uber on the property and the musty smell in our room, plus the time share solicitation, I wouldn't stay again. Of note: the staff were incredibly helpful and kind.
