room was wrong configuration , we asked for two queens and got one king. it did have a hide-a-bed. smaller property than most dreams, food option were therefore limited. food was good, but beach was in permanent black flag status, as the ocean is angry in that stretch. preferred rooms did not have butler service as is typical at this family of resort.

Nice pool and lobby. Helpful friendly staff. But room should be cleaner. Fan was very dirty. Also restaurants have long waits.

From the moment our family arrived, our experience was extremely disappointing. The resort simply does not have enough dining options to support its guests. There’s no dinner buffet for those who don’t want to wait in long lines, leaving you with limited choices—either show up right at 5:30 PM and hope to get in, wait hours, or risk not eating at all, which unfortunately happened to us one night. What makes it worse is how disorganized the system is. After checking in and receiving a buzzer, we watched our table get given away to someone else. When we brought it up, the response was essentially “oops,” followed by being told it would be a long time before we could be seated again. The entire dining process needs a complete overhaul. A proper reservation system would go a long way in improving the experience and better supporting hotel guests. Out of the hundreds of resorts we’ve stayed at around the world, this was by far the worst experience we’ve ever had.

Absolutely shameful service from the staff here as someone who has stayed at many Hyatt properties including all inclusives. On the day we arrived, they charged us a fee for the children even though I showed them the Expedia purchase shows that I had children on my purchase. They claimed the children were listed as infants and charged like $600 total extra for just two nights. Then on our last full day, my husband got hurt on some rocks an stepped on a sea urchin. We had the facility doctor come to remove the spikes and he was instructed to keep the area ventilated. We were trying to still enjoy our time after that ordeal, and went to the Bordeaux restaurant. Then they said we can’t go inside because my husband is wearing flip flops ! I said well he was told by the doctor not to put shoes on what is this. And they kept giving us the run around wasted about 45 minutes of our time, until the restaurant manager agreed to the flip flops but said he needs long pants. Umm he has gashes all over his legs from the rocks ? At that point we were too tired and humiliated to even keep advocating for ourselves and gave up to go to another restaurant. Which, by the way took another 2 hours wait. Overall poor management service and awful trip for us.

The food was good just like every other resort, I did have issues checking in they made me pay even though I booked on Expedia so I had check in a hour later after my group did trying to sort that out. Other than that beautiful resort, but if you’re looking for a party that’s not it, families and couples everywhere but I do recommend

Special thanks to our besch attendant Mercedes for such good service at beach. The only problems we had were at the Italian restaurant. Twice we went there to put our name on wait list and waited for 45 -60 minutes Both times when we returned in said time they had missed our time and had no tables for another long time. We always ended going elsewhere. Very poorly managed

This is our first time to Cabo and to an all-inclusive property. The resort overall is overall clean, quite well run. There is direct access to the beach although it is not swimmable - there were patrols to ensure we didn't walk too close to the waves. The hotel room was spacious although could use some upgrades in the bathroom. Housekeeping service was great and prompt to response to our requests via their Hyatt app. We were happy with the food options - all the restaurants had great selections and quality for decent for the price point. I especially appreciate the large selection of mocktails since our kids got to enjoy some "fancier" drinks than just juices. One thing to improve would be on the consistency of restaurant service - we had a couple great servers but overall we had to ask for the same things several times. We also appreciate the option to drop off our kids at the Explorer Club so we could enjoy the meal at the adult-only restaurant. The kids club seems very fun as they have different activities throughout the day everyday. Our kids were only there for 2 hours and they had a great time. Overall we had a very pleasant stay at Dreams and would recommend the property.

There is nothing wrong with this place. Oceanfront room with our own pool. The food is gourmet…..top notch. We’ve been to many hotels world wide. This is the best all-inclusive luxury resort we’ve ever been to. You will love it!!

Dreams Los Cabos is a beautiful and well-maintained resort, and there were definitely parts of our stay we enjoyed. The grounds are attractive, live music was excellent, and pool activities were fun and engaging. The staff were consistently friendly and especially helpful in recommending the better food options. We booked an ocean-view suite, and while it technically faced the ocean, the main view was the back of a restaurant, which was disappointing given the upgrade. The food was good but inconsistent, with a bit of a learning curve to finding the best dishes at each restaurant. We were also surprised by the limited traditional Mexican cuisine — beyond highlights like the fish tacos and chilaquiles, most options leaned Italian, American, or general seafood. The biggest letdown was the drink quality. For a five-star all-inclusive, the bar program felt like an afterthought. Drinks varied widely by bartender, many cocktails missed the mark, and most frozen drinks were disappointing (except the piña colada). Margaritas were only average, and higher-quality liquor was used only if specifically requested. Overall, while the staff and atmosphere were strong positives, the experience didn’t fully meet five-star expectations. For the price, we hoped for more consistency and likely wouldn’t return.
