"From the moment we booked we knew we chose the right hotel. The staff was so helpful on planning our arrival, setting up tours, and making us feel welcome in an unfamiliar city. The hotel itself feels like your own private house. The rooms were large, clean, and modern. The pools (yes plural) were a great amenity to relax from our sightseeing adventure. The staff was incredibly accommodating. And finally the location was perfect. I am very picky on hotels and we will definitely visit again. "

"Amazing! The staff was truly incredible. Sheik, the manager went above and beyond to answer all my questions. The hotel is very authentic and very much a boutique hotel that feels very true to the city. Getting in and out was very easy; there was always someone at the reception 24/7. I would definitely recommend staying here rather than a fancier hotel if you’re looking for a more unique experience in Cartagena. Thank you Alfiz for making my Cartagena trip even better! "

El baño me gustó bastante. El Jacuzzi super a gusto. Está mega cerca del Barrio de Getsemaní (a dos minutos caminando). Sin duda, si vuelvo, sería ahí, me faltó la experiencia de la cocina con la Cheff. De ahí todo excelente 🇲🇽"

"My stay at GHL was just what I needed away from the holiday noise in Getsemani. This was my first time visiting Colombia, and being 5 minutes walk away from the Clock tower & Walled City- the location was perfect! Breakfast was tasty, though I opted for the traditional scrambled eggs, coffee and toast. No complaints there. Rooftop pool was amazing! The views were nostalgic and it really added a nice touch to the property. The luxury room was a little smaller than I expected from the pics online;...
