"As many have said, this is a dated hotel with a very 1970s feel. We stayed on a Friday night as we had an early flight the next day, and the car park was very busy (as was the bar, so we ended up eating in a side room). The food was actually pretty good. "All but one of the staff absolutely lovely. Unfortunately it only takes one to dampen the whole stay. Quite noisy rooms in the ground floor, main building and variable food. They have a trophy cupboard full of hospitality awards so it's just possible our off-season visit was just poor timing but we're unlikely to rush back."
