"Breakfast and coffee included would have made a difference. The hotel was also very cold. They adjusted it by the second night but it was unnecessarily over-chilled. Otherwise, very nice rooms."

"Elevators are very slow. Rest is great. Close to a trail near Hudson. Very nice walk even if it is sunny outside. Shaded by trees. Food mart in a small town near this trail (30 min walk) is also good for small shopping."

"The room was clean. There is not a breakfast buffet. There is not a pool. There is a gym. They say convince area but no one working the area. The registration people were always busy. Music blasting in the lobby and because it’s pet friendly there were dogs barking at all hours. Only two towels for a family of four."

"I’ve booked direct before and don’t remember being charged for parking $15 per day which is crazy since there is ample parking surrounded by businesses who would certainly not use the hotel’s parking. It may be because I booked with Expedia which was a huge savings even with paying for parking, my only surprise."

"Staying at Residence Inn is always nice because rooms are like apartment units. They are spacious and have everything you need for a flexible and comfortable stay. There were some imperfections in cleanliness with our unit at the Orangeburg location, but we didn’t complain since we were checked in early. Front desk staff were very kind and helpful as well. Although there aren’t too many hotel options in the area, we will likely stay here again the next time we visit."

"do not park in the street, white plains does not allow overnight parking. the fee is $20 but you would have to move the car by 8am. the $25 parking fee is great because this hotel offers a 12pm checkout time"

"Breakfast was good, and the surrounding area was great. There were stains on the couches from unidentified bodily fluids, the tub didn’t work and there was poop on the ground next to the toilet. Unclean and gross, and the air conditioning made a loud knocking noise that woke us up every half hour. Also the ice machine didn’t work on our floor. They gave us some money towards breakfast for the inconvenience but I wouldn’t recommend anyone stays here"

"Make no mistake, the grounds are beautiful. The original mansion is also beautiful. However, it is very modern and the addition of recent structural additions to accommodate an increasing number of guests does diminish the property from the magic it claims. Imagine an old mansion property where the atmosphere ends at the door to your room because as soon as you enter the room, you’re now staring at a Hilton or Comfort Inn."

"I booked a room with three separate beds for three senior citizen men. The room was not provided, only room available was a King and fold out coach. They did provide a fold out bed. This was unacceptable and we asked for a second room and was told that they were completely sold out. The empty garage and sparse crowd at breakfast the next day makes me question that."
