This is an excellent place to stay! The amenities are fantastic, and the staff were incredibly accommodating. They let my friend and me use the spa on our check-out day while we waited for our airport transfer, which was such a nice touch. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious, the rooms are spacious, and the outdoor pool is lovely. I highly recommend staying here!

Well located near restaurants and continente supermarket. Very clean and helpful staff. The breakfast was great and also the restaurant for lunch and dinner.

Det dejligt hotel med alle de faciliteter man kan ønske sig ved et ressort. Hvis dette ikke er nødvendigt, som i vores tilfælde, kan hotellet stadig varmt anbefales. Morgenmad og restauranten serverer rigtig god mad og Nem parkering og liggende i gå afstand til by-centrum.

Situated a 10 minute walk from Madalena, this hotel is peaceful and tranquil. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable, and we were allowed to check out at the later time of 1.30pm without incurring extra costs (€50 thereafter). We couldn’t book a public taxi through the hotel for the airport run, so used their transfer service (€22 for a 20 minute journey). Good breakfasts and restaurant looked nice, but we chose to eat in local restaurants.

Hotel itself was excellent. Absolutely perfect. And the spa was great. The only negative aspect of our stay was the massage service. My girlfriend was very disappointed with the experience because the massage didn't focus on her shoulders which were sore. She told the practitioner about it, but they essentially refused to deviate from their plan, which was pretty lack luster and not effective at relaxing her muscles.

Great hotel and the room had a great view. The hotel and room were very clean. The pool facilities were nice and well kept. The hotel staff were very helpful at finding us a cab when our arranged cab didn't show up and we were struggling to find anyone due to the holiday on the island. Note that the hotel is on the south side of Madalena and it was about a 20 minute walk to the harbor/main area of town.

Very fresh breakfast. The restaurant was decent and convenient for dinner. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking was easy.

We had an amzing stay. The staff were so calm and helpful. Nothing was too much problem. Wonderful location looking to Mount Pico and also across the water to Faial. Restaurant has a balcony looking out towards the sea. Seafood rice exceptional - lobster, crab, prawns, mussels etc - make sure you are hungry.

Nice modern hotel with nice pools and view of either ocean or Pico mountain. Great beds, good shower pressure, lots of choices for breakfasr. Good restaurants nesrby and enjoyable walk along the sea to town, Easy and amole parking. I recommend without any hesitation.

町の中心、港からは歩いて15分ほどなので、交通の便はあまりよくないかもですが、近くにスーパーマーケットや人気のレストランもあり、ワイナリーの工場もあったりしてそれなりに便利です。 スパもありますが、私たちが滞在していた時にはサウナが稼働していませんでした。 部屋は広く、テラスもあってよいのですが、スパやプールがあるのに洗濯物を干せるようなものが室内にないので、不便です。 そのほかは非常に使い勝手もよかったです。

This is a great option for those looking to stay in the area. Ample parking, spa facilities including a Turkish bath, and an outdoor pool. Staff was friendly, continental breakfast included, would certainly consider staying here again.

Tolles Hotel. Sehr aufmerksames und freundliches Personal. Das Restaurant ist super. Beim Frühstück ist alles da, was man braucht. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, sehr groß, modern eingerichtet und ruhig.

Wir hatten ein sehr sauberes und sehr geräumiges Zimmer, welches elegant und gemütlich eingerichtet ist, mit tollem Blick auf den Gipfel Picos. Sehr zu loben ist, neben dem sehr stilvollen Spabereich mit tollem Außenpool und Blick auf Faial, das hervorragende Restaurant des Hotels. Wir waren an zwei Abenden dort zum Abendessen. Kulinarisch und preislich absolut empfehlenswert mit traumhaftem Blick auf Faial und von der Dachtterasse auf den Gipfel Picos. Neben allen Annehmlichkeiten war das Personal des Hotels ebenfalls eines der Highlights unseres Aufenthalts. Stets zuvorkommend, freundlich und sehr aufmerksam. Aufgrund eines Geburtstags, den wir nicht dem Personal mitgeteilt hatten, gab es vom Hotel eine Flasche eines sehr guten Schaumweines als Überrasdchung. Wir haben unsere Zeit sehr genossen.
