"A 5 star resort , great spa too. Indoor pools, hot tub and steam room were serien. Our massage therapist was knowledgeable and friendly as well. The main outdoor pool is massive and water warm. The breakfast buffet is outstanding . The staff were always polite and spoke various languages fluently. Our room was very large with a terrific shower. I loved their optional pillow selection as well. The cleaning staff folded our clothes too daily. A nice touch. There are plenty of great restaurants...

"Hotel is situated on a shore of the ocean, so through bedroom windows and balcony we saw only ocean, waves and had magnificent view. Food was excellent in the restaurant, staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Room was spotles. Highly recommended to everyone!!!!"

"Das Hotel ist ein super Ausgangspunkt um die Insel zu erkunden. Highlight ist die Dachterrasse, auf der man einen ereignisreichen Tag wunderbar ausklingen lassen kann. Da wir viel unterwegs waren haben wir nur mit Frühstück gebucht. Hier gab es ausreichend Auswahl und man hat immer sofort einen Platz gefunden. In der Nähe gibt es diverse Essensmöglichkeiten. Im Zentrum ist man in ca. 35 Minuten zu Fuß, alternativ kann man den Bus oder für ca. 5€ auch ein Uber nehmen. Beim Check-In haben wir...

"Sehr schönes und idyllisches Hotel! Besonders die Pfaue, die um das Hotel herumgelaufen sind, haben uns den Morgen beim Frühstück versüßt. Das Frühstücksbuffet war großzügig und sehr lecker, und auch die Servicekräfte waren stets freundlich und zuvorkommend. Nach einer langen Wanderung war der Wellnessbereich perfekt zum Entspannen und Ausklingen des Tages. Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt: Wir konnten den Zimmernachbarn schnarchen hören, als würde er direkt neben uns liegen."

"This stay was the perfect hotel for relaxation, away from the madness of Funchal. It gave us a perfect base to tour the island. It gave us the chance to cover many levada walks and tour the island by car ( a car is essential if you want to explore). The hotel ran many other sessions including rum punch making, wine tasting and botanical tours. The facilities includes a freshwater pool, indoor pool, jacuzzi and sauna as well as spa facilities. Staff cannot do enough for you and the breakfast...

"Super großes Zimmer mit 2 Doppelbetten. Sehr sauber und praktisch eingerichtet. Schönes Bad und kostenloser Parkplatz in der Tiefgarage. Nur das TV-Gerät ist zu bemängeln."
