"We were very impressed with this hotel, not one complaint. The rooms are spacious and immaculate, nice hot water, clean linens and towels, the bathroom was simple but well designed. The beds were comfortable, with a decent size refrigerator in the room. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Oh, the breakfast offered several options to choose from and so clean. “Sheila” was so friendly and obviously takes pride in her job. Will stay there again and suggest others do the same. Reasonable rate as well. Thank you."

"It was OK overall there wasn't really anything to write home about. The breakfast was really good. The room was dated and the sheets had stains on it, which were not great. It was also very small and crampy."

"This property is a mess. Dirtiest hotel ive ever stayed at. Would have canceled reservations if it was more than 1 night. "

"The hotel itself is in a decent location, that’s about it. The room was below average at best. The bed was hard as a rock, the pillows were also super hard. There was hair on the ceiling of the shower. There’s a bus stop at the corner where the hotel is situated. I didn’t notice anything out of the ordinary though. I wouldn’t stay here again and I would not recommend it."

"The building is old and in a rundown area of Hartford. They are working on renovations floor by floor. The night I was there they posted that The 4th floor was closed for renovation so what floor did they put me in! The third floor and what time did construction come the next morning? 630 am! I mean seriously! Breakfast was very good and was kept full and hot dishes kept hot. The staff were always visible. I had requested a room with two queen and a pull out couch because three of us were traveling together. The pull out couch was not useable! It was in terrible shape! Very disappointing and apparently there were no other rooms! So do your research!"

"Had to go to front desk to figure out how to turn on the shower. They had a laminated placard with a diagram which tells me they get the question all the time and begs the question, why not have the diagram in the room?"

"Rooms were dirty and uninviting! Lobby decent, staff friendly but…In the room the floors were sticky, walls were dirty, no tv remote, no trash can, uncomfortable bed and pillows, blinds were broken causing street lights to shine in the room. Elevator had a strong chemical smell which made it intolerable to use. Not enough towels provided for the number of guests and the only way to receive more towels from the front desk was to bring them our used towels. No extras of any kind. Very disappointing and not worth $100 a night. Would not recommend! "
