"The rooms were clean with great views. No amenities past 9pm. Everything shuts down. Cannot even buy a water."

"We enjoyed a six night stay with our granddaughter (age 10) who used the sofa bed. The whole unit was very clean. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The staff was excellent with daily texts on what to do and how to get assistance. The pool area was clean and comfortable and the AC worked very well. The view of the coast is unforgettable."

"Beautiful resort but still needs a lot of maintenance. The most frustrating part was paying the resort fee and parking fee, but watching many local residents use the facilities freely. The family pool was overcrowded with residents, not guests. The pools were supposed to close at 10PM, but on our evening walks we saw a lot of inappropriate behavior in the pools. Wondering how the facility is monitored, because it didn’t seem like there was any rule enforcement."

"Loved the hotel & lagoon. The pools weren’t big enough for our taste but we enjoyed the property. Room was lovely & quiet. Chairs were very worn but not uncomfortable or gross. Only major deal breaker for us was that the ocean tower was a 15 minute walk from the entrance. No way to drive over. There is a monorail type tram that came about every 20 minutes but did not run 24hrs. It sucked toting all of our gear back and forth to our jeep every day. Otherwise it was a very cool hotel."

"This is our third time staying here. We love how spacious the room is. The bedroom, laundry, dining area, second bathroom, kitchen, and balcony really make for a relaxing homey stay. The only thing that could be better is if we could get a room with an ocean view someday. Those seem to be reserved for Timeshare owners. The location is great too, just up the hill are some nice restaurants and down the hill is Kahalu’u beach and 20min south is Kona coffee country! We’ll be back!"
