"I was very welcomed by Mohamad, the owners son. I had a good size 2 bed room with a balcony that you could see a temple and the air balloons taking off from a beautiful green field. The room was clean, with towels, soap, and a hot shower. Breakfast was delicious with tea, fresh bread, fresh cheese, yogurt, and honey. I’m very grateful to have found this Gem for my Luxor visit. I will definitely be back here. "

"The hotel is still under construction. But the rooms are spacious and comfortable. I was surprised at how fast the Wi-Fi was. Breakfast is delivered to your room. And what made me happiest was that there was cold beer in the refrigerator, available at Egyptian prices."

"Had an amazing stay at Jewel Howard Carter Hotel. We had incredible service the entire time we were there - the staff were amazing and accomodating and had amazing recommendations the entire time. Laundry service was available and great price. Swimming pool was beautifully kept, they even had an organic farm with bananas, mangos and herbs. It’s in a quieter area of Luxor, so if you’re wanting to explore East Bank (the busier side of the city) be prepared for slightly higher taxi fares back...

"The staff/owner/manager made you feel very welcome upon arrival and throughout the entire stay. They helped to carry our luggage to our rooms. There is no elevator, only stairs, but it wasn't too bad. The hotel is right on the water. The wifi was good. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The AC worked perfectly on warm days.
