"The rooms are very small. Book at least two queen beds. There is NO CELL SERVICE if you are a T-Mobile customer at Canyon Lodge or anywhere inside Yellowstone Park. WiFi was iffy in the room ONLY. It didn’t work two of the 5 days we were there. When traveling with a group of people and they put everyone in separate buildings it was frustrating to communicate with each other. Calling each other’s rooms didn’t work either. The Eatery is very expensive. The Fountain/Grill is also expensive. CREDIT CARD ONLY throughout the entire park. NO CASH ACCEPTED. Other cell service Verizon was sporty."
"Large room very close to the entrance. The beds were very comfortable. Housekeeping did a great job every day cleaning our room. The breakfast had a great variety, but the hot food was just OK."
"For the price we paid. I would find another hotel or a one of those cute log cabins. The hotel needs a complete renovation. It was clean, the room and the building. We went to the pool and the hot tub. Only used the hot tub. There were no pool towels at all. That was disappointing. The bed and the linens were excellent.
The breakfast was okay. Not the best. They had a variety of food. Personally I prefer a hot breakfast. They had cereal, bagels, toast, fruit like bananas and apples. Hot coffee and fake juices for my opinion, like orange juice, apple juice and cranberry juice.Staff was alright."
