"This was our second stay at The Pheasant Inn and we were not disappointed.
The rooms are wonderfully maintained & warm all year round, the staff are extremely friendly & accommodating (allowing us to store our bikes indoors) & the food is amazing!
There is so much to see and do in the area we will definitely be back in the new year too."

"hotel very handy for shops etc.
very good room (3) surprised really. all the usual bed bath shower etc but this room included a lounge area and a bit of a kitchen area. sink fridge and for some reason a dish washer . in the cupboards was one plate . no glasses so we was baffled.
the room was a bit warm but wasnt a problem .
The bar is ok but could do with more choice of real beers
breakfast we had Washington grill which was very tasty.
for those visiting Cumbria this hotel is 30 min drive from...

"Food was cooked to order and every meal was so good. There was plenty of choice and there was no problem when I asked for salad instead of chips. The plates were full of good tasty food.
The bed was so comfortable that we slept through the nights."
