"All the staff were fabulous, helpful and courteous. I'm a coeliac and the waiting staff couldn't do enough to make sure that what I had was GF, cooked separately, and hot The concierge staff helped immensely, pointing out places to visit as we'd never been to the area before absolutely deserve 5 stars from me for service Room(we were upgraded to a double) was well maintained, clean, and tidy and the nights sleep was as good as at home One downside...... "Great food at breakfast with a good choice. Excellent meal and reasonably priced at Nelson’s with very attentive staff. Rooms very clean, lovely bathroom products available and well stocked tea/coffee tray with hot chocolate and shortbread biscuits. Spa area great, good sized pool. Hot tub, sauna and steam room. All staff were very pleasant from reception, spa and dining room staff. A brilliant stay."

"A beautiful hotel, which has been refurbished to a very high standard. The rooms were very clean, soft fluffy dressing gowns were provided along with snacks and water. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The centre was just a short taxi ride away (or a 10 minute walk) we had our evening meal there which was delicious. The only downfall was breakfast sadly which wasn't very warm and had been standing a while. We would definitely stay again."

"We visit every Christmas and the condition of the hotel gets better and better each visit. So good to see a property being invested in and maintained. The rooms, staff, food and bar are really excellent. Only very minor gripe - some smoked salmon at breakfast would be nice."

"This is a little gem of a place with the rooms opposite the pub, they could not do enough for us from making us welcome to excellent food and impeccable service. If you’re looking for a bit of quiet and out of town so noises to a minimum this is ideal and we couldn’t recommend anything better, there was nothing to fault.
