"My birthday at Hotel La Compañía was nothing short of extraordinary, and truly one of the most memorable hotel experiences I’ve had. From the moment I arrived, I felt completely spoiled by the warmth and attentiveness of the staff. Every detail was so thoughtfully curated, and it was clear they genuinely cared about making my stay special. The room itself was absolutely beautiful, an elegant blend of history and luxury, with one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. It was the kind of space you look forward to returning to, even after a full day of exploring. One of the highlights was the incredible massage at their in-house spa, which was pure bliss and the perfect way to ease into a day of celebration. The entire experience felt indulgent, calming, and deeply restorative. What truly set this stay apart, though, were all the thoughtful touches. I arrived to find a delicious birthday cake waiting in my room, and later, while celebrating with friends at Capella Rooftop Bar, another cake appeared—completely unexpected and such a joyful moment. As if that wasn’t enough, we were treated to complimentary champagne by the pool, adding an extra sparkle to an already perfect day. Every interaction with the team felt genuine and effortless, and they managed to strike that rare balance between professionalism and heartfelt hospitality. I left feeling incredibly grateful, celebrated, and already dreaming of my return. Hotel La Compañía is a true gem in Casco Viejo."

"Breakfast was terrible and the hotel is in need of a renovation. It was kept clean and the staff were very nice however and its an OK location for views and nature walks along the trail ways and also close a few to bars and restaurants "

"Nice stay at the Radisson Panama Canal. The pool is very nice,clean the view of the ships passing by was an added bonus. Our first morning we had breakfast, which was very good but we chose not to eat the rest of the time.We just like a coffee & something light to start our day.I do recommend if you need to eat hearty. The staff were friendly and helpful.The room was very nice & clean.The air conditioning is excellent. Tv stations good.They have a shuttle service which is not free. We used Uber. Location is a great spot. Close to all the sights.The american chain restaurant TGI fridays is on site & is very good. Great happy hour. Down the street is the Canal House which is an authentic Panamanian restaurant. This was very good,nice prices.Entertainment on weekends. Very friendly people. I would stay again. "

"The bed was comfortable and the Air conditioning was cold. Architecture was strange..,lots of concrete which did nothing to soften the noise coming from the Nightclub overhead, until about 3 am. I had booked an inside room which I had heard could be quieter but was “upgraded” to a balcony room. The balcony is a shared balcony between all rooms on the second floor on that side. It overlooks the sketchy looking street beside the hotel and allows for you to “enjoy” the music as if you were sitting there. Ear plugs did not help. "

"Excellent location in the most tourist part of Panama City, Casco Antiguo. Safe area, local to everything, and a beautiful hotel. "

"No activities. Food is 1/10 I left starving only ate enuff to get me by and not be sick. It’s very much so bottom of the barrel kind of resort. "
