"Relaxing and convenient to two Yosemite entrances (El Portal and Mariposa Grove). Six rooms in three separate buildings. Private deck area for each room. Modern bathrooms and great AC/heat. Satisfying breakfast. Quiet rural location. Highly recommend! "

We had excellent food in the local restaurants. We loved visiting the museum in Mariposa. The drive to Yosemite National Park was also nice.

Good dining options, but the shops opened too late and closed too early to get our business.

There is a beautiful walking path along Mariposa Creek, just behind the hotel. It wasn't advertised anywhere, we just happened upon it while taking a walk. It is really nice. Lots of frogs and huge tadpoles.

Mariposa is an awesome hetaway from Merced, Ca. Its only a 30 minute drive. My wife and I visit quite a bit.
"The motel room was very spacious with a very soft bed and cushy pillows. The staff was very nice and parking was right outside my door.
The area was what made it. Mariposa is a very small cute town with great restaurants and everything is walkable. I would definitely stay here again."
"Cool little inn on a quiet street. The owner was very accommodating and responsive. They had to scramble to find us a crib as they had none left when we checked in. She was super sweet and was able to locate one in town for us to use during our stay. Outstanding service and ability to accommodate us. Really went above and beyond.
The room was nice and spacious. Bed and pillows were comfortable. The only thing I'd say is the bathroom could use a little more attention when cleaning. Overall it was a great stay for our trip to Yosemite!"
