"Tranquil small hotel in an old home. Fantastic location in the Medina. Lovely staff overall. The management did fail to organize a trip that we requested but apologized profusely and the gave us free drinks in return. Breakfast was very nice and beautifully served. We ate dinner here once and enjoyed. I would very much recommend Riad Jona for an authentic Marrakech experience "

"In the heart of Medina (old town). A 20 minute walk to Jena’s el-Fnaa. Only a 6 minute walk to Bab Aylan as a close/main pickup location for the tours & excursions. The Riad staff was very friendly and helpful. The daily breakfasts were delicious. I would recommend that the guests book their transportation to/from the airport through the Riad. They facilitate the process and provide you with someone to haul your luggage and guide you to the Riad. The streets are a maze and it can be confusing & daunting to locate the Riad on your own."

"I stayed here with my teenage son and we were thrilled with the beauty of the property and the kindness of the staff. The morning breakfast was a wonderful way to get our days going, and the location in a quieter, more “local” corner of the Medina was a nice bit of separation from the busy areas closer to the main market. This was also very easy to get to as it is just off a main road."

"At a superficial level, this hotel is stunningly opulent with regular use of water features. I walk with the aid of a cane because of balance issues and the hotel offered too many risks of falling. As a result I didn't use the spa or plunge pool in my room. Staff were consistently brilliant. My room had 6 component and was spotless."

"Scary/sketchy area. We were assisted by a bystander who literally walked us to the door step like just less than 20 seconds distance, asked for money. Seems to be the over-all theme in Morocco, everywhere. Guy at front desk was polite, although after the initial experience just made us felt uncomfortable overall. Shorted our stay one night and left for Paris and boy what a difference. Finally a stay without being taunted and harassed. Not returning even if you pay me"

" We booked and pre-paid through Expedia and had received our confirmation etc however when we arrived in Morocco in the evening we found out that the place was under construction and not available. When we tried to book another hotel nearby via the Expedia website we could not and would recover the message ‘ something went wrong’. I messaged Expedia rep for help & they could not reach this hotel nor could they tell me why I was receiving an ‘something went wrong’ when I tired to book other accommodation. They thought it might be too late in the evening to book at Hotel in the app in this city. Thankfully we found a nearby hotel in person however the cost for one night was the same as 3 nights at this hotel. Expedia rep offered 50 $ for the challenge and said they would contact this hotel. I have not heard any message back from Expedia nor this hotel. I’m quite disappointed wit both parties . This was an expensive and stressful situation that could have been avoided. It was terrible to arrive in the evening in a unknown city thinking all was paid for arranged & then to find out there is no place to stay. "
