"We loved our stay here...I am a person who pays attention to detail. I always find something wrong, but not here. Spotless...even the elevators and hallways. I didn't even know it was pet friendly until after arrival...you would never know. Not one bad smell! Not one. The room was perfect. The bed, super comfy and clean. Easy walk to the river. We highly recommend it and we hope to visit again."

"The pool was overcrowded and smelled awful, however they can't really control how many people are in there if its not over max capacity. Aside from that the property was nice, they charge the incorrect card upon checkout and haven't responded so that is my main complaint."

"we booked a queen suite and got a standard suite. water was out most of one day due to a major water leak in the hotel. the breakfast was absolutely terrible every day we stayed. the rooms furniture is extremely uncomfortable and dated. the bed was like lying on a sheet of plywood. i would barely even call it a mattress. to top it off after we checked out with a zero bill i noticed 2 unauthorised charges to my card of 60.00 one day and 50 the next. we made no purchases on the property and those charges were NOT on my bill at checkout. my stay was prepaid a month in advance including parking. i am disouting those charges. while the location is nioce and central to downtown avoid this location at all costs. Marriot is typically my first choice. this place was bad enough i may be rethingking that for future stays."

"My husband and I loved our stay at The Chattanoogan and would return. It is within easy walking distance of great restaurants (try The Feed Company!) and a short drive from other restaurants and attractions. My only complaint is that the housekeeping staff did a poor job of cleaning. When we retired to a "clean" room there were hairs in the sink, the toilet paper roll had not been refreshed, and, while this is really nitpicky, the cord to the hairdryer was sticking out of the drawer. It just pointed to lack of care IMHO. That said, stay at the Chattanoogan. You can't beat an evening at High Rail having drinks and good food served by Logan. Ask for Sarah at Forge and she'll take good care of you (plus, the food is delicious!). And there's a Starbucks on site. Would more could you ask for?"
