Hotel Riu Palace Baja California - Adults Only - All Inclusive

10/10 Excellent

"When we first arrived there was a huge group of people that made it feel that we had booked at Carnival Cruises. I was looking for a quiet getaway and it was not what I had expected. Unfortunately, my room was adjacent to where they were partying and being just awful. I went to the front desk and explained that I wasn't happy with the location. Each manager there went out of their way to find us a new room, moved our bags for us and then checked in to see how we were. The move made a 1000% difference! The group was there only for the weekend and we just went to the adjacent resorts during that time. How the staff handled them with such grace is unbelievable. The resort is immaculate - everyone works very hard to make your stay absolutely perfect. I read that tips are included and many people don't. But PLEASE try to always leave something for at the end of every meal, drinks, and room service. These ladies and gentlemen work very very hard to provide a beautiful experience for us and every person that helped us was patient, gracious and always had a smile. In the US, tips are EXPECTED for service not even close what this resort provides. We will be back!"

"We loved everything about this resort had so much fun. There’s plenty of restaurants and buffets to choose from. There is always activities going on everyday so you won’t be bored. It does have a nightclub everyday till 2am and sports bar till 5am so if you like to party late this is the resort for you. Only cons is that there is tons of walking in this resort and it’s huge. I would stay by the center of the pool so you can be closer just to save less walking but theirs is tons of walking in this resort you will do. I would recommend this hotel more for couple or single people trying to have fun not so much things to do with kids."

"The resort is beautiful, and the grounds are well maintained. The location is excellent. Rooms definitely need updating. There was only 1-2 english television stations to watch, and part of the time the channels didn’t come in at all. I didn’t like seeing all the dirty dishes and food littering the hallways, There were lots of food choices, and for the most part the food was good. They definitely need more than one bartender out at the outside bar, but the pool servers were great, they really work their butt off and want to make sure you’re happy. Overall we’d visit this resort again, and we had a good time"

"Great breakfast staff very friendly it’s a budget 5 star I’ve stayed in the all inclusives locally and break buffet matches or beats most. Rooms clean comfy restaurant next door has your Italian favorite and pizza. Cakes coffee sandwiches are all delicious next to that is oxxo convenient mart has all the junk and spirits you need. Next to that is the terraza taco’s clean taste and of course spicy. This place is a gem of a find. Enjoy we did !!!!! Recommend"

"Our family had a wonderful stay in Apartment two four zero eight, a luxurious fourth-floor unit overlooking the pool. Soriana grocery store & Costco HUGE convenience!! The condo is beautifully decorated, spacious!! and well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable family vacation (no bbq). Kitchen’s well stocked, with all the essentials to prepare proper meals. The A/C worked exceptionally well in every room, the hot water was always reliable, and we never heard any noise from neighboring units. There were a couple of minor maintenance issues during our stay. The dishwasher didn’t work the whole stay and staff informed us they would need to contact the warranty company for repairs. Additionally, the blind assembly in the two-bed guest room unexpectedly fell during the night. However, maintenance responded promptly and repaired it the following day. One of the highlights was the outstanding security team. They were consistently friendly, attentive, and visible throughout the property, monitoring entrances and regularly patrolling the grounds. We also appreciated the covered assigned parking, efficient elevators, well-maintained/equipped gym, and fantastic pool areas. Absolutely thrilling for high school graduates & adults~~"
