"Good for early flights. Main bed is comfortable but sofa bed is terrible (made up of 3 small mattress pieces that separate easily when you lie down)"

"Decent hotel, not as close to Stanstead as initially expected, but there is a very handy regular shuttle bus to and from the airport. Only downside is that the rooms are very noisy, you can definitely hear what sounded like planes taking off well in to the night."

"Great place to stay before an early morning flight. Hotel is a short 1 minute walk from the terminal which is very helpful. Rooms are spacious and clean. Staff are helpful. A pleasant lobby/bar area to have a relaxing drink. There is also a pool, sauna, steam room, and gym which are free to use for hotel guests which is a fantastic bonus to start the holiday! Overall, the best hotel option near Stansted Airport and worth paying a few £ extra for."

"Full cooked breakfast was available, parking was available with plenty of space. The room could have been cleaned better, especially around the window but the rest of the room and the bathroom were fine. Staff were friendly and helpful. I understand the property had new owners so they were probably still getting to know the property."

"not a good sleep the first night due to a machine in the courtyard for freezing purposes. apparently the normal freezer had broken. however after we complained we were moved to another room which was a lot better in fact an upgrade on our previous room hopefully the university of cambridge will rectify this in the not to distant future. the staff were excellent"

"Room was very clean, staff were always polite and helpful. Breakfast menu was very good, however I was a little disappointed with the evening meal that I had. The chicken skewer was slightly overcooked so a bit tough. Main issue for me was that the air conditioning was not working in the rooms. There was a fan provided but as the temperatures had been very high, the fan just circulated hot air. I feel that better provision should have been made."

"A bit of a disappointment for what we paid and for what looked like a special location in a beautiful building . Our room was just about as far away from reception and the hotel amenities as you could get. We were cleaned around and our table laid up for the next sitting before we had finished our breakfast . My husband was then hoovered around while he waited in reception. I know we’re old but we’re people and not invisible! We gave the feedback to the receptionist who was polite and...
