"Solid and good hyatt in an interesting new university town development. A small but good selection of shops, bars, and pizza in the square nearby, along with the hotels own bar/restaurant. Great shuttle bus to town and close to the park and ride, makes it a great place to stay and relax. Presented good value for money on accomdation, didn't eat there. Handy fridge in room helped too. "

"I stayed at Turing Locke Cambridge from 22–25 April 2026, and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing—especially as this stay coincided with my birthday. On arrival, we were given a room that was clearly not fit for use. The bathroom had a strong sewage smell and the sink would not drain, making it feel unsanitary and uncomfortable. When we quieried this the barman said they don’t have triple rooms with private bathrooms so I showed him the booking I made along with this room still being advertised. "The hotel was lovely—very clean, and the restaurant was excellent. However, our experience on arrival was disappointing. We were told check-in was at 4pm, but our room wasn’t ready, and we ended up waiting in reception for nearly an hour. We didn’t get into our room until after 5pm, which delayed our plans for the evening."
