"The Charlie Hotel and our ‘Steve’ room in particular was a great place for us to base ourselves in West Hollywood. It had enough space and all the amenities that you would need. The bed was comfortable, and there was a full kitchen and washing machine and dryer. Staff that we encountered were very friendly and professional. The only negative was the frankly ridiculous rule that was stuck to the kitchen wall forbidding the cooking or microwaving of fish with the risk of a $250 fine from the...

"Wonderful place to stay half a block from boys town in West Hollywood. Quaint, well appointed, cozy rooms, always welcome us when we stay. The 2nd floor sitting area with patio, coffee, tea juices and bakery items In theam, and wine in the pm is so great. Mini rooftop a 24 hour retreat to sit and overlook the hills. Staff is always incredibly kind and helpful. It’s a small boutique place with warm relaxed service."

"We had three rooms reserved and two had A/C problems. Everyone had to figure out finding another room at a different hotel since they didn’t have any rooms available. Hotel should have notified us in advance so we could have figured other accommodations and stay at same hotel. I had asked for front desk to get manager to call me but no one called. Rooms are not maintained at all and have a musty smell."

"Pleasant staff. Slightly walkable location to some museums and shopping. Trader Joe’s around the corner. Valet seems useless to drive 6 feet from car drop off to the parking spot. Wasn’t sure if the restaurant was ever open during our stay. Bathroom fan didn’t work so our room got very stuffy with shower humidity. The fridge was smelly/dirty with prior guests takeout leak. Room a/c fan was loud and came off and on throughout the night. Ok stay for 1-2 nights."
