"Everything from start to finish such a beautiful place"

"Parking is good we didn’t have a drink in the bar. We have stayed here many times over the years but it has gone downhill. Poor maintenance in the bathroom… no hot water for a shower or a wash! Went to breakfast and was told we had to be finished within half an hour… people on the next table… the waitress actually asked them to leave!! My husband complained at reception but they just said ok I’ll let them no… with no apology. Also check in not very welcoming! Also they have spoilt the...

"Soon as we walked in it smelt like an old peoples home, fusty and old - in need of a good clean. Walls are paper thin, only one pillow each. Bathroom was awful, dirty toilet. Check in was easy enough and we didnt really use the amenities. The only reason we didnt leave and go somewhere else is because it was dirt cheap and we were only staying as it was close to the airport for a early flight. So really you get what you pay for but wouldnt recommend or go back"

"We stayed in cottage 3 only one night unfortunately as I could look at that view from our window forever. The cottage was spotless and lovely and warm and there was everything you could need for a longer stay . The food was excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. Most of all very,very dog friendly , excellent ! "

"The bathroom was lovely and great toilet paper quality and towels, nice toiletries too. Nice tea tray and bed was comfy. However there was a gaping hole filled with cobwebbed pipes and the view out of the window was over bins. The room was cold but a portable heater was provided and sufficient. Dinner was great, the food was of an acceptable quality but the star of the show was the staff that served dinner. They were not intrusive, but were so helpful, a great steady pace of service.
