"On arrival checking in was easy reception staff very helpful.We had a first floor room which was clean,shower over bath was not brilliant.The room had a fusty smell as though it had been smoked in or damp???? Dinner was very good really delicious and piping hot.Breakfast would have been brilliant if it had been piping hot but it was just warm! "

"The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant at all times. Our room was very spacious and clean. The first night we ate in the restaurant and were very surprised that a few items on the menu were not available. The food was however very good and fairly reasonably priced. However we decided to eat in the restaurant on the second night of our stay and the items not available on the first night had doubled. In particular on both nights there was no cheese. As we were a reasonable sized group it was extremely disappointing. The staff were very apologetic.The hotel needs to get their food purchasing sorted. The food available was on the whole good particularly on our first night. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice.You had to pay for overnight parking but there were plenty of parking spaces. After driving 100 miles you don’t want to find you cannot find a parking space. Lots of hotels in Stratford seem to suffer with limited parking. The hotel is well situated and only a 10 minute walk at most from the centre of town"

"The breakfasts were fine, not exceptional but aboce average. The staff were all really good and went out of their way to be helpful. The bar was well stocked and one barman in particular was very good. The room was well equipped and spotless, the bed was comfortable. "

The hotel, restaurant 😋, was fab 5* the staff so helpful and friendly can't fault any of them....😍 just had a wonderful stay, a plus if you needed one was the weather 🌞😎 fabulous 👌 Can't wait to go and stay at The Bell again. "There is a pay and display car park next to this hotel with very thin parking bays. Hotel is in a very convenient location to walk into town in minutes. Reception staff were very friendly - staff in the bar were a bit off hand. "
