"We returned to the Phuket Marriot for the second time. It was just as good as the first. Amazing facilities and friendly staff. Our room was spacious and well appointed. The bed was very comfortable and the cleaning staff were excellent. It would have been nice to know in advance that there was a large corporate event planned for the week. The closure of certain parts of the resort including restaurants and certain areas was a little annoying."

"The place felt like a maze, so I didn't get to enjoy the whole resort. The staff had no map of the resort therefore I only saw 10 percent of it. They also said there there was three pools though I could only find one, that's how much of a maze it was."

The hotel also offers a shuttle to the downtown area several times a day. I did feel that the property was a bit expensive, as it is slightly dated. "I arrived at the hotel at midnight. No one helped with the luggages or was at the door to greet me upon entering. The way Stephen handled the check-in process was really bad, never have I experienced such a bad and rushed check-in process.
