"Building and rooms are beautiful, unique spaces. Room was supposed to be ready at 3, but was not available until 4:30, which set us a little behind in our plans. Thin walls; could hear people coming into their rooms at 2 and 3am. "

"Trumbull and Porter is a great boutique hotel in a wonderful location. The lobby, bar and outdoor spaces are all thought fully designed and fun spots to hang out. The room itself was relatively basic but clean and quiet. Secured parking. Only a short walk to the riverfront and Ralph C. Wilson Park. Got drinks at Batch Brewing right across the street and breakfast at Folk just a block away, both fantastic spots I highly recommend to anyone staying at Trumbull and Porter."

"****BEWARE**** I was here for a basketball tournament over the weekend and we had no hot water. I guess a few other people had the same problem. I was told that when the manager came in Monday, I would be compensated for my stay. Instead, she told Expedia that when she got there Monday, there was nothing wrong with the water and they will not offer any sort of compensation. They didn’t even offer me another room after I told them that I had no hot water and said they can come check for themselves . Instead, I received an email saying that their boilers are working fine and that they think it was from all the teenagers in the hotel staying there.. EXCUSE ME !! if your hotel boilers can’t keep up when your hotel is at full capacity then maybe you need an inspection done maybe things aren’t up to code. Not to mention the leak under the sink or the heater that was making noise all night . Those things I could overlook but hot water is a basic amenity. And they think they’re slick instead of texting me back they call the room so that their side of the conversation isn’t documented. Unprofessional . My worst experience ever at a hotel. "

"We skipped the breakfast buffet because at $18.99 a person - including kids, it was too much money. I had picked this hotel based on pool reviews. However, the main pool was cold, and the air temperature in the pool room was cool. The jets in the hot tub did not bubble to the surface, and it was not hot enough for a typical hot tub."
