"The Creekside Inn is basic, but in Alpine County, if that's where you want to be (and it offers incredible outdoor opportunities and natural beauty year-round!), basic is pretty good. It's quiet, and not at all as pricey as most of the alternatives (of which there are very few). Fabulous restaurant, Stonefly, across the street, is open for dinner Th-Sun. We haven't tried the hotel next door as an alternative for dinner M-W, but that's basically your only option. For decent coffee, there is Mad...

"The room was clean and bed comfortable. Does NOT have continental breakfast, what they did have was stale croissants and cereal. You can smell the septic leach field. No ice machine."

"Horrible place to stay at. Looks like it’s family owned but the office/check in desk is nasty and dirty. They keep a dog there as well. The staff who checked me in was extremely unhelpful. The checkout staff was a little better. The place stinks though and looks like people live in some of these rooms. One room had 2 cats some cars that did not move. Looked like apartments more than a hotel/lodging. Raccoons came because of all the mess due to people who live there. 100% do not recommend staying...

"Stayed at Sierra cabin towards the back of the property (of note, Yurts are at a different location just down the road). Very clean, friendly staff, very relaxing grounds. Patrons were all respectful during our stay and everyone seemed to value the collective feeling of serenity/peace. Excellent supplies in terms of all needed utensils in clinic, only negative was regarding spice rack, some were expired but really not enough of a negative to take away from the experience. "Pass key to the room we were originally assigned to did not work which required back and forth to the front desk and wasted time. There was no coffee in the room. Multiple things were broken. I escalated the issues with no response or help from anyone."

"I really liked the convenience of self check in and out . The room was cute and cozy, it had all that we needed for our stay. It was also a clean space . The common kitchen was also great. Only thing was the slow wifi when we came back after being out , which is understandable since everyone was on it too. Other than that it was a pleasant stay. Had no issues which we didn't have to be in touch with the owners . Will stay here again ."
