"Very nice people. Vintage bathing arrangement"

"Sue was a brilliant host. Breakfast was delicious, the room was quaint and had all emenities. Her breakfast was enough until dinner (suppertime). Not a far walk to the shops, Old Towne, Haymarket and the market was minutes away. Would recommend to my friends when visiting Edinburgh."

"Booked this for my granny who was visiting me in Edinburgh. She found the bed very comfortable which is important for her. Breakfast was also delicious with a nice range of hot and cold options. The guest house is in an old building so some things are a bit threadbare but it is well taken care of and clean, and the neighbourhood is very nice and quiet. Duncan was absolutely lovely and so helpful, both in person and over email before/after her stay."

"The owner was very friendly and helpful and the room was immaculately clean."

"Exceptional history, plenty of snacks and food items left in room for breakfast, highly recommend staying here!"

"Wonderful staff we loved our shirt stay wished it was longer comfortable rooms great location a hidden gem"

"A gem. My family and I spent our last night in Scotland in this beautiful place. The owners are the sweetest human. The house is absolutely beautiful. The deer and sheep land behind the house in this magical Scottish valley is breathtaking. The food perfect. The bed comfortable. I wish we had spent way more days in this little paradise. I absolutely recommend."

On the way to the B&B, there was an accident in the middle of Linlithgow cutting off all traffic through the town and I had no idea how to get through to the B&B. Without needing to call, Catriona messaged us with directions helping us get around the traffic and saved an extended argument in the car! On arrival, we were greeted by Catriona and shown to our room (Superior Double Room w/ garden view), which was stunning and...

"Hotel has closed down and you still billed me, waiting for reinbursement !"

"Angela and David are perfect hosts and we can’t fault anything about our short stay. They are warm and hospitable and made us feel completely at home. A memorable stay for us and really convenient for good restaurants as well. Superb views and great home cooked breakfast."

"Accommodated early check in, decent room and enjoyable stay. Great to be back in Edinburgh ! "

"Spotless, nicely presented and warm. Great shower and tasty treats. Good breakfast and friendly and helpful proprietors. Have recommended to family."
