"The Aida is a beautiful boutique hotel. It is close to the KC streetcar & the art museums. It is well maintained, the rooms are spacious & the staff is very helpful. Cookie treats & fruit are provided as well as Expresso coffee. Regular coffee would be a nice addition."

"The property is well located, you are in walking diatance of the Plaza. Very beautyfull surrondings and eatery. The only thing rhe AC in the room is to load. The only reason i would not stay again is because of the noise of the AC."

There wasn’t a coffee machine or kettle provided, though I asked twice at the reception. No mugs either. And room service was skipped for almost 2 days until I asked. "The first room did not appear to be completly clean and was not in great shape as the floor was damaged, the deadbolt was stuck open so the door wouldn't shut, and it needed a fresh coat of paint etc. I alerted the staff and was immediately moved to a room on the second level that was the same room but in much better shape. "Was unaware this property is in foreclosure and changing hands, but the staff was excellent and helpful. The restaurant was well run with very good food and reasonable prices. The outdoor pool deck could use attention, and the pool was freezing cold so we didn’t get in. Our room had a small balcony overlooking the Plaza, so we sat outside morning and evening. "I recently stayed here for a world cup match and it was wonderful. The staff was super helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and super comfortable. Breakfast was good. Overall it was the perfect place and location for being close to the FIFA Fan Fest. Would absolutely stay again."
