"We loved everything about our stay here. The staff was amazing! Easy to talk to, and always available for any questions we had. The rooms were great. Big room with a comfortable bed and good sized bathroom. We would absolutely stay here again!"

"On arrival at Bell Cottage we were met by occupants who directed us around the corner to the owner's house. The owner was not in but able to communicate via the Ring doorbell. We were greeted warmly and told where to collect the keys to a different property with en-suite and a shared kitchen, situated to the the left of the owner's house. So a bit of confusion to start with, but the attic room we occupied was lovely, cosy, comfy and spotlessly clean. We enjoyed our stay. "

The breakfast was amazing and the fresh pastel del nata was even better than what I’ve had in Portugal! 10/10 recommend "

"Great place to stay if you’re off to the races, 15mins by car or Taxi. The pub does not provide a breakfast but their evening meals are good, and the staff are friendly. The rooms are at the back of the pub and have ensuite bathrooms, tea, coffee and water bottles in the mini fridge. The linen and towels were all fresh and the bed very comfortable. "

"Super high quality hotel! If you plan to travel for Newmarket horse racing, this hotel must be the best choice. In the hotel, they have a wonderful warm swimming pool and jacuzzi. My husband and I enjoyed them after watching horse races. Although it was a very expensive hotel, we enjoyed very much our life in Newmarket."

"The lodging here was so beautiful, small style cabins that are modern with a great view and a small garden out back. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean. The restaurant next to the lodging was amazing, staff were so nice and helpful and the food was delicious. I will definitely be coming back."

"Check in was straightforward, I arrived earlier than check in but was able to access my room. Room was clean & bright & roomy. Large comfy bed & all facilities. Well positioned for visiting Bury St Edmunds & surrounding area. Lovely village pub which was popular with locals. Staff friendly & food good."

"The welcome we received at check in was probably the best welcome ever at a hotel. Our room was squeaky clean and we had a gorgeous relaxing view over the golf course. We ate in the onsite restaurant one evening, sensibly priced and great food, again the staff were exceptional. We loved the use of the pool and its other facilities. All in all it was a fabulous stay, we hope to visit again."

"A classic country pub with new upmarket bedrooms that impressed. The breakfast in the bar was good although my brown toast was dry and burnt. For the money it is good value and the bedrooms are the best aspect. "
