"Direction by the hosts was spot on! Upon arrival we were a little early but as our room was ready they let us check in straight away. Staff were all super friendly and even offered to bring our bags in. Full guide or room was given. "On the hottest day of the summer the long walk up Steep Hill seemed never ending. It was worth it when we reached this hotel. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The communal areas were inviting and beautifully decorated. The stairs and corridors to the room were like a rabbit warren but spotless and classically decorated. This time our visit was especially good, largely in part because the staff on Reception were so courteous, welcoming and efficient.
