It is quite a long way from other sights in Kyoto though but close to a local train station so fine if you’re happy to take transport to get around. Beds great & nice feather pillows. Very clean & tidy but be aware there is no front desk so it’s best to do the check-in prior to arriving. "This hotel has great rooms for cheap prices. Our room had a complication but the hotel staff upgraded our room no questions asked and were very apologetic for the issue. 4 stars. I'd give it 5 stars if there wasn't an issue with the original room, but how the staff reacted to the issue was exceptional!"
