"As a long time guest who has stayed at Sam's Town for close to 35 years, I have become more and more disenchanted with the property with each visit, and at the point of never staying at Sam's Town again. Within the last five years, the ownership has slowly removed all of the reasons that made for a fun destination and a locals hangout. Simply put, the energy and life of this storied establishment has been sucked out. Here are the reasons, starting with the most recent;

"Hotel is nice and clean. I only have a couple of things that I’m sure people are used to. They say no smoking rooms but our room still smelled like smoke. Also the mattress was a little tough/hard. But other than that, no complaints. Room was clean, it was quiet enough, a lot of parking. I’d stay again. I went to visit family so it was a good spot not centered in all the chaos of Vegas."
