"Great location yet quiet as it is well back from the street i side a courtyard. Very nice cottages with kitchenette, loft, dining table and sitting area. The shared patio also has tables for sitting outside. As with much of Alfama be prepared for stairs to get up to the cottages."

"Our apartment was very spacious and stylishly decorated, with direct access to the garden and pool. The fridge was stocked with milk, yoghurt, cheese, ham and jams. Every morning, you received bread and a small pastry. However, it might have been nice to have a bit more variety for breakfast. The location was good for us. It’s out of the very centre of Lisbon, but it is located just 10/15 minutes walk away from the old area of Lisbon."

"This hotel is not clean. Lots of smells in the room. AC wasn’t working when they moved us into another room. Shower also was not working in the first room. The area around it is not safe, lots of homeless around. The upside is that it is close to the tram and walkable to some sites."

"The owner, Amelia, was very helpful and kind. I forgot to contact her about my arrival time beforehand and I had trouble with checking in because of it, but she came over to the property and did a tour of the house. The owners of the cafe right next to the house were also very kind and called Amelia for me to check in. The house was clean and it was only 3 mins walk from metro station. You can walk to the city center by walking about 20-30mins."
