I made a reservation and received a confirmation email to state that my booking was successful and that we would make payment at the property. When we got to the property, the security had no record of the booking and we did not receive the apartment phase number we would be staying. He stated that the office was also closed so there was no one to call and reconcile this with. I was very disappointed as I had stayed there in April and was looking forward to coming back.

The stay could've been better if the condo the resort put us in didn't need to renovations. Since we have all these things going on do to the coronavirus we should be practicing more and detailed cleaning. The property do not care about the pandemic because just putting people in rooms that look like they just took a rag and did a quick wipe down. Bee hives flood in room and broken furniture.

For a one night business trip it suited my purposes. It’s in the hills of Columbus Heights so it’s quite and away from the noise of the town. There’s nature all around as you make your way from the entrance gate to the room. The studio apartment I had was ok, quirky drapes, but simple and clean environment with all the amenities you could hope for a long or short stay. I arrived and devoted outside of the opening hours of the office, which required a little more planning and coordinating with the staff than I’m used to but it worked out ok.

There was only air conditioners in the bedrooms and they were out of working order. The WiFi was out of working order and the television was old and malfunctioning. The unit was sort of big but very dated. The staff weren’t the friendliest and the property is weirdly complicated . Maid service was unsatisfactory and unit kitchen dirty. Furniture was dusty but outside grounds were nice and clean. Good location. 24 hour security and mostly occupied by locals. Several residents played music loud for hours on end that reached all over the property which was disruptive, annoying and rude.

My stay

I stayed at this villa a few days. Its located close to the town and all the surrounding areas as advertised.The securities were very good and house keeping was ok. However, the room was very small and the unit was not updated. They advertise air conditioning but only the bedroom was air conditioned and the windows did not allow the room to remain air conditioned. The bed was mattress was very comfortable... needed replacing. The bathroom was horrible toilet stained and bath tub unappealing.

our stay was comfortable. bath room need some updating. could do with a change of bed covering. but we were comfortable and felt secured. Peasant surrounding.

Good locatiion. Next to dunns falls. Nice condo. Lots of breakables and staff quuck charge 200 deposit. Maid was horrible who expects large tips. Will not stay here again.

Poor service for the price

The location was great. The door to the apartment was difficult to open, had to call for help each time I wanted to get in. There was no internet access and the ancient TV did not work.

Overall, the experience was great. Staff was helpful and I enjoyed the fact that security was in place - security was my highlight. Unfortunately, the cooking stove is a mess and needs to be thrown out - what if I had planned to make a home cooked meal.

Columbus Heights Weekend Stay

We arrived to the hotel in the late afternoon and we're greeted by the security and the person who was to check us in. The check in process took a lIL longer than expected. The room was very nice and and clean. The wifi was on and off and most of the cable channels did not work-the ones that did work stopped working after a couple hours. It was, hoewever, a comfortable stay and the environment was relaxing. Needs a great deal of touching up on the outside but the inside is warm and homely.

The hotel reminds me of a villa.

It has everything from pots, pans and silverware. It's located on a hill so you have to walk up the hill to get to your place and down the hill to go to the Main Street. They did not have a tour guide to take us to different venues which was the major downfall. However, overall I would recommend to others.

Proximity to Many services

As previously stated, the greatest asset of the Columbus Heights Condominiums is its proximity to the wide range of shopping facilities, beach facilities, restaurants, entertainment, etc. In most cases these services are all within comfortable walking distance from the hotel.

Worst Place in Paradise

I checked in on Thursday Sept 4th, 2015, the dilapidated office did not leave a good impression and things went downhill from there. Tried to change my reservations from 3 nights to 2 nights and I was referred to what my contract states and they cannot do anything about it. When I verified that I have internet access, I was told that I did not request internet, so I had to refer to what was stated in my contract which was internet access. They took us to a room where the internet was not working. Then another room in the Bauhinia clusters, where the lack of amenities was mind boggling and insulting. The moldy stench that escaped from this room was alarming, the person taking us around was surprised that we had a problem with it. I refused to stay in such squalor. They proceeded to show me to another location in phase 1. The walk to that spot was not pleasant and the apartment itself was even less pleasant, I cannot take the time to describe it here. We ended back at the first place 5-13c, with no internet access for 24 hours. The furniture, bed linen and towels were dingy, had to ask the housekeeper to sweep the floors, and the overall apt is dilapidated. I left on the Sunday because I could not bear the thought of staying for a third night.

check in was okay. unit was clean but needed lots of upgrade. AC was like a cool air fan, very old. Towels were horrible dirt white
