"Our room was phenomenal. So clean, amazing views, totally private. This was such a romantic place to stay, with excellent staff. Be sure to have a drink at the bar for San Lucas, even if you don't do the entire dining experience."

19 May 2019Cloud forest is impressive especially in Santa Elena National Park. Walking around misty forest for hours is so calming. Monteverde cloud forest offers amazing views of the whole area. Santa Elena town is fine, just few restaurants and nothing else.

25 Feb 2019Monteverde is busy. Titally geared up for tourists. Don’t expect there to be clouds in the national Parks; we went there to walk in the cloud forest but there wasn’t a cloud in the sky! The last hour of the journey there is on extremely bumpy gravel.
