"Our family of four stayed for two nights in the room with a queen and two large bunk beds and it was perfect for a short stay. The free breakfast was delicious and made to order. ALL of the staff was so kind and helpful. They helped arrange transportation to Monteverde Cloud Forest Preserve and helped book a night tour at a different reserve, giving us a variety of options. We would definitely stay here again and will look into their sister hotels in Oaxaca and Nicaragua. As a bonus we saw...

"Property was amazing and staff are very warm and helpful. Trails on the property are very nice. Definitely do the night tour as the guide was able to find sloths, tarantulas, green viper, and kinkajou. We did not use the pool. Restaurant on site was reasonably priced and very good food."

"Really enjoyed our stay here! One of our favorite places we stayed at! The fire pit and the views were stunning! We got some beautiful photos. The server in the restaurant I forget his name but he was wonderful as well. We also did the avocado trail and it was nice but we went a little late so it started getting dark. Def recommend doing it earlier in the day. Overall, very clean and friendly staff. Recommend!"

While housekeeping responded, the actions taken did not fully resolve the issue or restore the quality of stay that was expected. "The description on the website and photograph do not do the property justice. It excelled on all counts only issue was that the ramp leading up to our Cabana was quite steep, which could be an issue for someone with mobility issues and would just need to be worked out in advance with the property. The location was excellent. There is a locked gate into the property so Security is superb. The property is in the middle of the cloud forest with many birds just outside the window. Attention to detail, it had everything we needed. The decor and grounds well maintained. Excellent staff service. Breakfast included was delicious, order off a menu.
