"My two nights were terrible. I was left in freezing cold unable to gain access due to the lock. Owner was not immediately available for support. A guest smoked cigarettes and weeds on both night with windows shut. I returned to a smelly property. As a non smoker this was unacceptable. My clothes and air felt dirty. The same client cooked with windows shut causing the smoke alarm to go off disturbing my peace. Kitchen was used and not immediately cleaned after use by other guest. "

"Quiet accommodation for good rest after a sports event I spent two nights in The Tavern in Alnwick to participate in a marathon race. The accommodation is in the centre of the town, on top of a pub, but it was very quiet, even though it was a weekend. The staff was friendly and helpful. Despite arriving late on a Friday evening, and the kitchen was about to close, they still prepared something for dinner for me, which was much appreciated after my long journey.
