"Clean, quiet, good breakfast"

"Rooms were clean. Had a couple of bathroom issues that were taken care of immediately. The bed was comfortable. The pool was just warm enough and clean. The pool area was clean too. The breakfast was good - waffles, Danish, fruit, cereal - hot and cold . The eggs and meat varied by day. Coffee was good. Most of the staff were very friendly. A couple of them seemed to be having a tough day. Lots of parking. Room layout was a little confusing and we had to walk a ways before getting to the...

"Pool was closed,only reason I booked was because they said there was a open pool on site to get there to a closed pool,maintenance said it was open and then immediately the person at the counter said its closed very rudely....If you want a basic over-priced hotel...This is your place."

"The check in process was so fast and friendly. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The lobby has a small convenience store area that was very well stocked also. If we're ever in Lansing we'll definitely come back!"

"Double Tree is usually a pretty safe choice for a quiet good nights sleep! I dinged a star overall as the bed we had was pretty "broken" down. If you were sleeping on one side or the other, you can feel the "slope" down to the middle, regardless if you are a side sleeper or back sleeper. Usually would not bother me - but now have some back issues and a decent bed is worth it's weight especially when traveling. This is a first at a Double Tree for me. Won't keep me from coming back. Though...

"This was a wonderful place to stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. They helped us find a restaurant and answered all our questions. The room was newly renovated and super clean. I felt safe on the property and many places were in walking distance."

"Very clean room, super nice staff. The breakfast was top notch (try the lemon or churro flavored waffles, they were outstanding!) It’s a nice quiet hotel and I felt very comfortable there. When I visit my family in East Lansing, I will definitely be coming back to this hotel."
