"エディンバラを朝から晩まで楽しみたい方にはおすすめしませんが、観光客で溢れたエディンバラを脱出して郊外で特別な宿泊体験をしたい方にはおすすめです。お城の塔の寝室、大広間、屋根上が貸切です。お姫様というよりは砦の城主の気分を味わえます。車で行く方が多いようですが、私たちは最寄りのWallyford駅（エディンバラから2駅）から歩きました。遊歩道を30-40分ほど歩くと着きます。夕食は済ませるか、調達してから行く必要があります。朝食は部屋に準備してあり、好きなものを選んで食べられます。オーナーご夫妻が気さくでとても良い方々でした。おすすめです。"

"Absolutely loved our stay. Convenient to Edinburgh (by car), great staff but what made our stay special was the property itself - absolutely beautiful... it's like being transported back in time. The setting is beautiful - so peaceful and the gorunds are beautiful."

"We had a wonderful 2 night stay at Ocean Mist. On arrival we were greeted by a very friendly crew member who stored our bags while we explored. We had some fizz in our cabin which was pre-booked. Our cabin was spacious, comfortable and very thoughtfully decorated. We had everything we needed and more. The bar was fabulous and the cocktails were delicious. The smell of smoke coming up the stairs soon told us cocktails were being made! The views out on deck were great. There is a whole cabinet...

"Very clean space. Very economical for Edinburgh. A bit tight for 3 adults but we knew that before, knowing we would be there only for sleeping. Great location. Bus stop is right across the road. Less than 20 minutes to the heart of the city. "

"The staff was exceptional. We arrived early before our room was ready and the staff took care of our luggage and directed us to a delightful afternoon tea while we waited. We blew an electrical breaker trying to use an American hairdryer and they promptly got the electricity fixed. They were very flexible with dinner reservations, working around our daytime activities."

"Charming place, right outside the Holyrood Palace. Clean and modern, no lift had to carry luggage up 3 flight of stairs. The building fire alarm is very sensitive. Close to Tesco express."

"This rustic yet modern building is in walking distance of historic Edinburgh. The room and amenities were excellent, service great, the sister restaurant had excellent food and drinks. Highly recommend this hotel."

"Lovely restored house in a neighborhood (more like a B&B). There is a bus that runs into Edinburgh proper or you can take the mile walk. The hotel gives very good recommendations for local dining. Parking can be difficult (limited on-street parking for non-residents). No eating in the rooms."

"I loved my stay at the Brae. It was the perfect place to get over jet lag as I embarked on a one-month vacation of the U.K. It’s a couple of miles outside of town, and the bus to downtown stops right in front of the house, which was perfect. Very comfortable for sleeping. Having a bath tub to soak in after a day full of walking was heaven. Graeme was an extremely welcoming and informative host. Definitely recommend t He Stay at the Brae."

"I wasn't expecting much from a dorm room, but what a disappointment. The room smelled like dirty socks, the shower barely got hot, the tv didn't work, and the room was cold. It was also incredibly noisy. There were some large groups of students (presumably foreigners on tour) and lots of other travellers. Doors were banging and people were talking loudly in the halls until 1 am. A word to the wise (especially if you're a mature adult): pay the extra and stay in a proper hotel."
