"would strongly discourage anyone—especially families—from staying at Hotel Le Chat Noir. The room itself was disappointing, but the biggest issue was the location. The hotel is surrounded by sex shops, adult stores, strip clubs, and other explicit businesses. We were traveling with our children and had no idea we would be staying in what is essentially the heart of Pigalle’s adult entertainment district.
