"I have to say the location is perfect close to transportations near famous buildings walking distance to shopping stores nice staff but I wasn't thrilled about my room. First I notice the faucet in the bathroom no cold water was coming out regardless on turning the knob in different direction it was hot water. Second, there is no insulation in the room I could hear the next guest to me all the conversations and whatever he is shuffling around in his room. I like my peace and quiet."

"Everything was clean and staff was helpful. Only negative i would say if there is one is that the AC did not have an automatic function. You had to manually turn on or off if you got hot ot too cold in the room"

"Dusty Room, dirty coffe machine, and coffee tray. Dusty towels. Dirty closet. Very bad and damaged mattress."

"The location of this hotel is excellent and this wasn’t my first time! I think it’s been renovated and it’s a good property. I got a great welcome as a Bonvoy member. But then everything else after that was downhill, overwhelmed, and discourteous staff- and our bedroom was not made properly! I kept calling the reception, spoke to them, message them and literally begged them to clean our room. Nobody responded and when I went down to complain when someone was very rude and I just left."

"The staff was exceptional -very friendly and helpful! There was a mix up with the type of room I requested but they managed to rectify the error by moving us on the second night. To compensate for this inconvenience, we were given vouchers for complimentary dinner and drinks at the Fitzpatrick restaurant. Everyone went out of their way to make our stay very comfortable. Thank you!"

"The room was dirty. I had to have the staff come up to make the room warmer, he was able to do. The air filter had not been cleaned. There really is no breakfast. The $15 is nice but you quickly go over because everything is so overpriced. I've been here before this was a bit disappointing .Location is great."

"The room was very spacious for NYC and for the most part clean, there was just definitely some questionable stains on a couple areas of the desk and the bathroom but overall a good experience! Staff were helpful with storage luggage for the day after and the bar connected to the hotel is absolutely amazing!! Beautiful aesthetics all around"

"Excellent location in midtown in order to travel north or south of the manhattan. The rooms were large and comfortable, but the lighting in the room was very dim. We sent a note to the manager but there was no response. The only thing that was not good was charging the resort fee which was about $50 a day for amenities that most people in the hotel do not use. Restaurant off the lobby for breakfast and dinner was convenient and the staff were very attentive. However the breakfast was expensive...

"We very much enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Park Ave. The rooms, amenities & staff were great. However, we will not be going back due to their dodgy billing practices. First, be warned: if you use a debit card you will get screwed (had they warned me, I'd have used a credit card)! Usually, one essentially pays for the room at check-in + deposit (usually around $200), which generally gets reimbursed upon checkout if there are no outstanding fees/damage.
