"Staff were wonderful and the newly renovated rooms LOOK great. However, the updates lack in usefulness: the window shade fell off on first use. The under window AC is still in use (and noisy), just disguised under a cute crate-like surround. The bathroom has no hooks for hanging wet towels or swim suits. There are only two hooks in the whole place to hang a wet anything, and they are on the side of a wood armoir - which means damaging this furnishing. Finally, the bath has barn doors, which arenā€™t that private, but more than that, the door went off track the first night we were there. Seems all renovations were for aesthetics (and they are pretty!), but not for usefulness or value. That said, the bed was comfy, the free complementary drink appreciated, and the service wonderful."
