"Hotel was very difficult to find, tucked as it is behind another hotel. No signage on the main road, or anywhere else. You actually have to pull up to a log cabin to discover that it’s a hotel, with Ponderosa Inn written in one of the windows, under a porch roof, as the only indication you are at the correct location. No clerk. Was supposed to get a door code but did not, had to telephone for it. However, the rRoom was nice and large and clean."

"Quiet and clean. Ample parking. Close to the park without the crowds. I enjoy a nice restaurant but it was nice to be able to make a few meals ourselves and not eat out all the time. We especially enjoyed visiting and comparing hiking notes with some of the other guests over a cup of coffee in the morning. We sat on the back patio in the evenings and were visited by a mule deer who came to munch on the pomegranates growing in the back yard."

"Beautiful property and the rooms are all individually decorated. The beds are comfy, the towels are fluffy, everything is spotless. Great common area to chill or eat your breakfast. Definitely should stay there again."

"The property is located in an elevated area and the back of the in faces the east. Dark sky at night for stars and a beautiful sunrise. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The light on the AC unit was bright and i could not turn the temperature light off. We were still able to sleep. The staff was warm and caring. My wife’s need for a gluten-free breakfast was honored and French toast, fresh scrambled eggs, bacon and fresh fruit was delicious."
