"We booked to stay 2 nights, arrived on Friday which was a heatwave day and was told we would get a fan in our room. When there was no fan in the room, we were told they are all allocated out! When questioned the staff, we got attitude and the response was- fine, you can have my fan, I won't have one! The same night it was thunder and lightning so we left the doors open in our room, 3am we got around 30 - 40 wasps fly into our room landing on us! It was horrific. We called reception and 2 people...

"Third time staying here due to the positive previous experiences. The positive streak continued with a great room featuring a fantastic air-conditioning unit which kept me cool in the June heat. A wonderful workout ensued in their very well-equipped gym set up. This was followed by a powerful shower and I went to dine nearby. Had a great night's sleep before a well-cooked breakfast got my day started perfectly. Can't wait to come back."

"I rarely write reviews but I needed to express our extreme disappointment at the standard of the Rose and Crown Hotel in Tonbridge. The external elevations are very tired but when inside it gets far worse. As with the outside, paint is peeling off everywhere and it looks as though no maintenance or upgrading has been carried out for many, many years. However, the worst thing is the lack of cleanliness. "Good value. Had a pleasant ground floor room overlooking greenery and you can open windows and French doors to get a pleasing evening breeze. Property is a little dated but we were fine with that. Access to plugs is an issue for charger, kettle and iron , cant use light plugs as different so have to pull out tv on stand to access and crawl in. They should have an extension plug pack to make it easier."

"My 5th time staying at Trading Boundaries. Always clean and the room has everything you could need. Grounds are lovely, especially nice to sit outside in the sun! Delicious continental breakfast and coffee in the morning. I’ll be back again soon!"

"Visited as we had a family funeral with the wake being held at the Bannatyne hotel. As a family we couldn’t recommend it more, we were given a room upgrade which was lovely. Breakfast was excellent with great choice for everyone. Would definitely stay again."

"We stayed at Salomons Estate as a group of 12 people. The grounds are lovely, and the facilities are well looked after considering the age and character of the property. The staff were really helpful throughout our stay. Everything was clean, and both the bedrooms and bathrooms were a good size. Although the rooms are a little outdated, the bedding was very comfortable, which made for a pleasant stay overall."
