Convenient to the subway line. Area is nice & peaceful.. close to REWE grocery store.. Though upon checking-in the staff did not tell us that there is free coffee in the morning which we could have made our stay more nicer. There is no air condition in the room, feels hot during the day, even when windows are open..

The room out the hotel and the entrance not smooth the luggage wheel damaged in bathroom no shelf above washbasin to keep your plates and toothpaste also no handspring for toilet

Great stay, good location.
We arrived to a very warm welcome. Check in was also quick and easy. We arrived at our room which was clean, nicely decorated and well stocked. We stayed 3 nights, it was a little over warm even with the heating off as we were on the second floor and the insulation was very good. I forgot to put the do not disturb sign on the door on our second morning and the very efficient room servicing team tried to come in at 08:30 whilst I was in the bathroom. I put the sign up that night and was not disturbed early again the day after. Great stay, very close to both the Erdinger and Augustina restaurants as well as the metro station. Great location and great breakfast too, we’ll be back again.

My stay was amazing! Empress has great rooms, a lovely breakfast and a very peaceful outdoor area. Perfect, relaxing choice for a weekend in Munich. Helpful Staff.

Schoenes Hotel mit nettem Team
Hotel ist gut gelegen (U-Bahn, Supermarkt, Restaurants) und auf der Strasse gibt's kostenlose Parkplaetze. Zimmer ist recht geraeumig (fuer angegebene qm Zahl) und hat eine Kueche mit Kuehlschrank und Microwelle, was insbesondere fuer Reisende mit Kleinkindern sehr praktisch ist. Eine kleine Terasse gabs auch, dafuer fehlten Essecke und Couch, die auf den Bildern gezeigt wurden. Bad und Zimmer waren sauber und ordentlich. Matrazen waren weich und unbequem. Statt des bestellten Kinderbetts bekamen wir ein Beistellbett. Zum Glueck hatten wir ein Reisebett dabei. Fruehstueck war gut und hat genug Abwechslung.

Very polite staff, Hotel needs improvements.
I was looking a hotel in a specific area in Munich and at that time it was the only one with available rooms for under 180 €. It cost me 90€. I wasn't expecting much but I was a bit disappointed. The first room I was given smelled like someone had smoked in there. Then I was shown to an other room. The room it self was fine and spacious. The shower wasn't thoroughly cleaned and the water was not that hot. The doors are not soundproofed at all, in result, you can hear everything that's going on in the corridor. I must point that both two receptionists I talk to were very professional, friendly and polite. That was a plus point.

Nice small hotel near the subway
Slightly older hotel with actual keys for the door but still very nice and the staff was awesome. Breakfast was very good and staff very accommodating. The hotel is in a nice residential neighborhood but situated right next to a subway station which made trips downtown quick and convenient

Oktoberfest Jumping Point.
Stayed here during Oktoberfest. The hotel is on the outskirts of the city, however one block from the U-Bahn (subway). Great staff and very helpful and rooms were excellent. Great overall value for the price. I will be staying here again. The only negative issue is parking. There is parking on the street as well as hotel provides underground parking for €12 euro/day but the turn to get down the ramp is rather tight, so if your not an experienced driver prepare for damage to your vehicle.

Cute boutique hotel, super helpful staff!
This was our first stop coming from the United States. We don't speak the language. The staff went out of their way to help us get settled and oriented. Very comfortable clean hotel, convenient to the metro. I would stay here again. I took a pic of the buffet. It was very pretty. But it comes in upside down.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Empress Hotel. The room for 4 guests was spacious and nice (two bedrooms upstairs, small kitchen and sitting room with TV downstairs). There is a 24 hr gas station/convenience shop, a Bier Garten next door, and the U Bahn is less than 2 blocks away. We will definitely stay again the next time we are in Munich!

Great small hotel, breakfast was meh and the rooms weren't air conditioned (only a small standalone fan) which made it a unbearable to be in there when it was 33c. Reception staff was nice. Beds were pretty small.

Overall a nice hotel in a suburban environment.
We were arriving late in the eveing - they did phone and left a voice message but was not clear as in German. As a key drop was available for pick-up if arrival was later than expected - this availablility of this option when booking would have been useful.

Place is in a convenient location from the Subway and grocery option. Room fully satisfying although could be hot on warm days. The small aircondition is insufficient to cool the room. Luckily the night was cool and the windows could be opened widely without much noise from outside.

I stayed here for one night for a business visit. The room was very clean and very spacious. For a family this room would be perfect as it is like a small apartment with kitchen etc. For business purposes it is less well suited. They told to park on the street even though they were supposed to have parking. Breakfast was ok.

The hotel is far away from the city center. The only reason you would stay here is access to the LMU clinic.

A GEM! Clean, modern, comfortable, quiet hotel!
With the new name (used to be Hotel am Klinkum), this hotel also got a great remodelling! The rooms are large, clean & furnished with new modern furniture. The location is outside the city center, but VERY easily reached from the U6 station Grosshadern. Neighborhood is quiet and great. Good restaurants near by as well as a grocery store. It was great for my business trip. I would also bring my family here as well since the rooms are large and there is a nice courtyard for spending some "downtime" outside. I recommend it to everyone, even at the risk of it becoming too popular!

Not for the lightest of sleepers.
The room was great overall, but the only issue I had was the room I was in absorbed all the noise. From the church bells going off at 0700 in the morning to the guest in the hallway unlocking and opening their doors to their rooms. I would recommend this place, it was nice overall, but pack some ear plugs if you're a light sleeper.

Es war alles super. Klein aber fein. Sich das Frühstück. Und das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis war top. Das einzige was ich nicht gut fand war der Geruch nach Toilette im Eingang vom Hotel, das war sehr abschreckend aber auch das einzige.
