"Location was amazing, every attraction is within a short few minutes walk. There were pubs, restaurants right below which we did not find noisy. Apartment had a lift, we stayed in apt 13 on the 5th floor with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a balcony with a nice view overlooking the Calton Hill. Checking in was easy with a pin code for the entry gate, lift and apt, felt very safe with CCTV around the common areas. Whole house was fully equipped with heaters, even for the bathroom floors. The location is ideal, just off the Royal Mile, and the apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay — it really was a perfect Christmas. "Best apartment! Highlight was the beds. Haven’t slept that well in a while. Even overslept, (not saying you should) check out time is 11 but thank goodness nobody shoved us out. Apartment has everything you need. Good hot showers, heating was spot on. Laundry was outside and fantastic big dryers. Would stay here anytime as its location is superb as well. Only downside is no lifts. "

"The carpets in the room are looking a bit grubby. There was a young blonde waitress in the breakfast room that looked like she had just woken up, not brushed her hair and her white shirt looked like she had slept in it, it was so creased and tatty. She also has a bad work ethic standing at the toaster to keep warm and not lifting dish!!"

"The Museum Apartments is in a very central location in the heart of Edinburgh and around the corner from the Royal Mile. The apartment was exceptionally clean and had all the amenities needed for us to feel comfortable. Communication with the management team was excellent - I had a few questions about appliances which were answered immediately. "

"Loved our stay in a 2 bed apartment in Braid apartments. Beds so comfortable that I didn’t want to leave ! Great welcome basket with some breakfast items were waiting for us on arrival. 2 bathrooms with showers in each and great heat throughout the apartment. Super place to be based as so close to princes street and main sites. Staff very helpful before arrival and provided information when it was needed. We arrived around 8pm and it was easy to access with the provided code which was emailed...
