As other reviewers said, there is a motion detector light going off many times at night and you can hear a bit the cars in the night passing, but that was not a problem for us at all. "We had a wonderful stay at The Royal park Canvas Nijo. We loved the location right across from Nijo Station. We also fell in love with the Life supermarket a block away and enjoyed shopping there. There are a variety of restaurants near by too we tried a few but if you are on a budget the Life Market nightly discount bentos are tasty and a great deal. Where else can you get a bento for less than $5 CAD. We had a triple room. So it was 2 single bed with a made up sofa bed. The rooms are ok size...

"This place was way better than I was expecting. It is large and clean and very traditional and has great amenities like a washer dryer, a great bathroom and a nice upstairs. Just my wife and rented it but it could easily comfortably hold a family of 6. The people running it ere super nice and very responsive and helpful. I plan to stay there again!"

"The process to get to your room is long, but the staff are super friendly. Price was right for what was described. We took our shoes off in the room as instructed, but the carpet was pretty dirty looking; a good cleaning of the carpet or a refresh with new carpet would be great. Little kitchen was nice, bathroom and shower room were nice, and the balcony was helpful for drying our clothes (there is a washer dryer combo in the room, but the drying part really doesn’t dry your clothes…You will...
