"I have stayed at Cedar Court before and it has generally been fine. This time, however, I booked a Superior room, as usual, but was disappointed to find that the original bathroom (with bath) had been ripped out and replaced by a walk-in shower. I personally prefer a bath, and on enquiring at reception I was told that all the ‘Superior’ rooms have had their baths removed. So if you want a bath, don’t book a ‘Superior’ room. "Set in stunning grounds I wasn’t sure what to expect from the interior. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The spa is very nice the changing rooms were adequate you need £1 coin for the locker but the pool and treatment rooms were very nice. The sun loungers were a little tired and worn and they are very close to the ground so getting in and off them can be somewhat tricky. "I was a walker arriving at the Nag's Head at 15.30. I was warmly received and shown to my very comfortable room. Although the restaurant was closed on a Tuesday evening, i was provided with a wonderful Chinese meal at a very modest cost. I requested a continental breakfast which was fine. Pick Hill is a lovely small village with a long history, some of which is displayed in the ancient church. "

"The Yorkshire hotel is in a prime location a short walk to the main shops, theatre, restaurants and attractions. We found the breakfast to have a wide choice and probably the best hotel breakfast we've had for a long time.
