Very clean room but was told at check-in to keep bathroom door closed when showering or steam may trigger fire alarm. Also microwave didn’t work, no soap, room temperature nor refrigerator was prepped for room occupancy

NO Lamps.. only bright overhead lighting. I had to Purchase a small $10 lamp at the DG down the road. NO Hairdryer, NO complimentary shampoo or conditioner. NO Kleenex. This is a two story building with only one entrance with NO luggage carts. Very Strong smell of Currie in the first floor hallway outside one particular room over three day span. Glass walls around the front desk were thick and went to the ceiling with a tiny tine hole at the counter and you could NOT hear the employee. We were told to keep the bathroom door in our room closed at ALL times due to the Fire Alarms said it was NEW Technology. I was repeatedly told there were no lamps etc due to it being an INDEPENDENT Owner and to keep the cost down the n the room. There were numerous motels within a few miles that had LAMPS, HAIRDRYERS, etc. all for under the price of this motel. We stayed because it was a BRAND NEW building and was very clean. The two staff members we had contact with were very friendly but extremely hard to understand their accent.

The facility was new & clean. The staff was nice & friendly. However, there was a slight language barrier. The rooms were not completely furnished. There were no lamps on the bedside table. So, if you wanted to read, it was with the overhead lights on or nothing. They did not provide a tv guide, so you were flipping through channels in the dark. Also, the thermostat in the room could not be adjusted. So, if you tried to adjust the unit, it would re-adjust itself. The bed was comfortable... sort of. But, I did wakeup body sore. I did not have that issue at the Holiday Inn or Best Western hotel the 10 previous nights.

When we arrived at the hotel it waa 1130p. There was no vending machines food/drinks. Within the hotel room. There waa no shampoo/conditioner body wash. Soap bars. No hair dyer. Huge king size bed. 32 inch tv. Impossible to see from laying in bed. Strong smell of paint/caulk. Front deak lady was amazing. She gave ua her drinks and snacks she brought from her home

The Hummingbird Hotel is newly opened and spotless! Everything is fresh and clean and up-to-date. The room we had was spacious and bed was very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and gracious! It is conveniently close to an area we are frequently in, so we will be back!

Adequate, no frills room.

Yes, the room was large & clean. What I wasn’t so happy about was the toilet is right outside the shower, so not much room to comfortably dry off, & I was instructed at check in to keep the bathroom door closed while showering otherwise the smoke alarm would go off. They need a towel bar or at least a hook to hang a towel to dry. Otherwise the room was adequate, no frills, but pleasant enough. The only real issue I had was during check-in, they have thick glass, separating the customer from the clerk, and it was very difficult to hear him and understand what he was saying, speaking from behind the glass. I let him know this at the time. I told him they needed to do something to where the customer can hear what the clerk is asking or saying.

This hotel was such a great find! The room was very clean and spacious, the staff was very friendly, and it was in a very safe area, and all of this for a very reasonable price.

I highly recommend Hummingbird Hotel! It was safe, clean, and recently renovated. The shower and bed were top-notch, and it was a wonderful and affordable place to stay.

The Hummingbird was brand new,reasonably priced, clean and spacious. The cons were no elevator, the ice machine was broken, the walls were paper thin, awkward check-in with staff behind glass, halls were not air conditions. Overall, it felt very much like a budget hotel.

I researched places to stay for weeks before making a reservation at the Hummingbird Hotel, and I am so happy that I waited to book before finding the perfect hotels. Its only 20 minutes to downtown Nashville and in a really safe location. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, it was at an affordable rate and the staff is really nice! I would definitely stay here again, it had everything we needed!

Clean, quiet, and great deal for the price

Brand new hotel. Perfect for the price and just minutes from Nashville. Bed wasn’t extremely comfortable and the pillows were very thin and flat, but mattress and pillow comfort are generally a personal preference for each individual. Place was super clean and everything worked. No frills place but again perfect for the price and a clean, quiet place to stay for the night.

Spotlessly new, big rooms, friendly staff

Had to do a quick overnight here on a long trip back home. The site is brilliantly lit at night, it looks like an oasis on the road. Rooms are huge and the building is brand new - everything is spotless and working perfectly. Front desk staff are super friendly. Hot water is hot, towels are soft, beds are cozy, AC works as expected. Nice place.
